Born and raised in Woodstock, Illinois, R. Mark Gummerson brings a unique perspective to each case he handles. Mark has been in private practice in McHenry County since 1980. He has tried well over 250 bench and jury trials including divorce, criminal and civil litigation matters. Mark started the firm of Gummerson & Rausch, LLC with Tom E. Rausch in March 2004. The firm named was changed to Gummerson Rausch Wand Lee Wombacher, LLC in the fall of 2011.

Prior to moving to Woodstock in 1977, Tom worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Moultrie County. Since 1977, Tom has been in private practice in McHenry County, where he has achieved notable success in representing injured parties, as well as defending doctors in claims of medical negligence. In 2004, Tom joined Mark Gummerson in starting the firm of Gummerson & Rausch, LLC, which became Gummerson Rausch Wand Lee Wombacher, LLC in September 2011.
