Born and raised in Woodstock, Illinois, R. Mark Gummerson brings a unique perspective to each case he handles. Mark has been in private practice in McHenry County since 1980. He has tried well over 250 bench and jury trials including divorce, criminal and civil litigation matters. Mark started the firm of Gummerson & Rausch, LLC with Tom E. Rausch in March 2004. The firm named was changed to Gummerson Rausch Wand Lee Wombacher, LLC in the fall of 2011.

Prior to moving to Woodstock in 1977, Tom worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Moultrie County. Since 1977, Tom has been in private practice in McHenry County, where he has achieved notable success in representing injured parties, as well as defending doctors in claims of medical negligence. In 2004, Tom joined Mark Gummerson in starting the firm of Gummerson & Rausch, LLC, which became Gummerson Rausch Wand Lee Wombacher, LLC in September 2011.

A native of McHenry County, Rebecca Lee started her career as an Assistant McHenry County State’s Attorney, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony matters and conducted trials in cases ranging from traffic violations to first-degree murder. Upon graduation from law school in 2000, Adrian moved to McHenry County, where he began his career as an Assistant McHenry County State’s Attorney. After leaving the State’s Attorney’s Office, Adrian has been practicing law in the private sector dealing with complex civil litigation. While attending law school, Chris worked for United Airlines as a Customer Service Representative. Following law school graduation, he started his career in private practice as a Lake County Special Public Defender and general practitioner. In 1995, he became a McHenry County Assistant Public Defender. From 2000 through 2011, he was a Senior Felony Supervising Attorney, defending individuals accused of various degrees of crime including First Degree Murder, Aggravated Driving Under the Influence as well as Juvenile Delinquency and Abuse and Neglect.
